I loved this piece, especially #5 about how an effortless choice is often a destructive one when in trauma recovery. I think/hope the next wave of design will be less about "don't make me think" and more about necessary, thoughtful choices. I'm a PhD student in CS, and I'm working to put some of these principles into practice. Great read!
